The Shipper's Guide
Tractor shipping rates come down to four variables: dimensions, weight, route, and trailer type. A 60 HP Kubota on a hot shot is a completely different load than a 620 HP Case IH Steiger that needs an RGN, two pilot cars, and bridge clearances mapped from origin to destination.
Most row-crop tractors hit the 8'6" legal width with duals on pulling the outer wheels usually saves several hundred dollars in permits. Articulated 4WDs almost always require overweight permits and frequently overheight, depending on the cab.
